What’s an online conference focus of recent NCDD Confab Call

Last week I had the honor of being the inaugural guest speaker for a new occasional program offered by the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation (NCDD), called the Confab Call. Special thanks to Sandy Heierbacher and Andy Fluke of NCDD for the kind invitation.

If you’re not already an NCDD member, I strongly encourage you to join, as it’s a great network of people and resources related to the practice of dialogue and deliberation.

The NCDD Confabs are a new series of regular conference calls for NCDD members only. Attendees explore dialogue & deliberation’s role in current issues, learn about exciting projects and interesting methods from fellow NCDD members, and just get to know each other a little better.

At last week’s Confab call, I talked about the upcoming Including the Excluded Online Conference (March 2-4) and about online conferences in general. You can see notes and listen to the program here.

This week the focus is on Haiti and the role of practitioners and facilitators during the recovery from the earthquake.
