Free July 20 PACE Webinar on Executive Branch, Philanthropy & Civic Engmt

Brad Rourke writes to invite people to participate in a free July webinar hosted by Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement(PACE). The program is at 2:00 pm (eastern) on Tuesday July 20, 2010. Chris Gates, the Executive Director of PACE, will moderate and Brad will present.

This webinar builds on a recent report that Brad wrote for PACE, entitled "An Evolving Relationship – Executive Branch Approaches to Civic Engagement and Philanthropy." The report is based on a briefing paper he wrote for a White House meeting earlier this year between leaders of the philanthropic community and Executive Branch officials. "In the paper, I argue that a number of key trends in Administration approaches to civic engagement are now intersecting and suggests a great deal of possibility for moving forward in the near future," Brad notes.
