Attend ParticipationCamp on April 17

Fellow IAP2 and NCDD member Christoph Berendes contacted me recently about the ParticipationCamp that's taking place on Saturday, April 17 at 9am at George Washington University's MPA building, in Washington DC.

Christoph explains that the program is "highly unstructured - an attempt, really, to make the spontaneous, interest-driven "conversations in the hall" into the main event. No plenaries, no powerpoints, but rather engaged discussion and problem-solving.  (A good unconference session rivals some of the best seminars and brown bag lunches I attended in graduate school.)"

Some of the topics this year include Second Life (yay!) as well as involving diverse populations, two focal areas in the work that I do.  Check out the website if you're interested in learning more about ParticipationCamp; the price certainly is affordable ($20 USD for attendees, free for govt folks) for what will be a great conversation and lots of mutual discovery.
